An initiative of Crown Jesus Ministries, 1Way is all about helping this generation become a movement for God. A generation that is prepared to stand up and be counted . . . 1Way is hosting three events each year in different locations culminating in a New Year's Eve Praise Party. The events will be geared to inspire, challenge, motivate and give young people freedom to express themselves in worship to God! The next event will be held on Saturday, October 1st in the Ulster Temple on the Ravenhill Road. Alpha Ireland
Alpha is a 10-week course that explores some of the basic truths of the Christian faith - "Who is Jesus?", "Why Did Jesus Die?" and "Does God Still Heal Today?" It is Christ centred and scripturally. It is relaxed, non threatening, low key, friendly and fun. Participants meet weekly and listen to a 40 minute talk. These talks are available on video/DVD or can be given by a live speaker. Participants then break into small groups to discuss the talk and questions arising from it. During the Course there is a day/week-end away.
Youth Network
Youth Network exists to provide care and support to the youth of Greystones and Enniskerry with Kilbride, Co. Wicklow. Through youth group evenings, rock concert style events and creativechurch services, we are enabeling young people to learn about faith and engage fully with their own personal faith.
Mothers Union
The Mothers' Union is a Christian organisation which promotes the well-being of families worldwide with 3.5 million members in 77 countries. Throughout Ireland MU members bring a variety of practical help and support to their parish and community e.g. about 50 MU-trained Parenting Programme facilitators organise courses locally.
